Todd Layne is the Director of Learning and Development at the Davis H. Elliot Company (Elliot), an electrical contractor based in Lexington, KY. Todd initially began a partnership with Elliot, in conjunction with the company he founded – Corporate CAREWorks of Kentucky, to provide care to employees who were experiencing difficult times.
However, his role and influence within the company began to grow, and Todd started providing leadership development services throughout the organization.
After making the decision to join Elliot full time in 2017, Todd developed the Leadership Moment video series in order to provide a consistent message about leadership to the company’s 2,400 employees spread across 13 different states. While one-on-one leadership development is important to his work, Todd has worked to develop the series to provide employees with useful leadership tools for their professional and home life.
Prior to founding Corporate CAREworks of Kentucky and working at Elliot, Todd served for 15 years at two of the largest churches in the nation to develop programs and systems to provide care for large numbers of people.
Todd Layne has been married to his wife Rebecca for over 30 years, and reside in Lexington, KY. They have three daughters, two sons-in-law and 1 granddaughter.
